Angola  Requirements

Business
 

Application Form. Fully completed without errors or erasures, in capital letters or typed in black ink and signed by the applicant. A photo must be glued to the form.

​

Passport: Passport valid for more than six (6) months, with two (2) consecutive blank sheets in order to apply the visa. Copies of the main pages of the passport with details of visas and stamps of previous travels must be included.

​

Passport Photo: 2 passport style photo, with a white background, taken within the last 3 months. You may also choose to upload a photo to your order for us to print. There is a surcharge associated with this service.

​

Proof of Legal Status in the United Kingdom. One of the following documents:

• Passport of one of the European Union countries.

• Permit of residence/stay in the United Kingdom.

​

Proof of Occupation. Letter confirming employment or student status – on letterhead paper. If not in education, training or employment, please fill in the relevant form. This form can be found here.

​

Vaccination. International Certification of Vaccination.

​

Proof of Address. One of the following documents:

• Water, Gas or Electricity Bill.

• Council Tax letter.

• UK Driving Licence.

• Bank Statement.

• Child Tax Credit or Child Benefit Letter (for minor applicants).

Itinerary. Airline or travel agent pre-booking.

​

Bank statements. Proof of Means of Subsistence, equivalent to USD 200.00 for each day of stay in Angolan territory. This sum of money must be supported by a Bank Statement – Documents from online banking will not be accepted.

PLEASE NOTE: PROOF OF MEANS OF SUBSISTENCE SHOULD ALSO BE SHOWN AT THE BORDER POST.

Letter of Invitation (LOI). Letter of Invitation (LOI) – In Portuguese language. The LOI must contain the identification details of the inviting person/company, it must specify the travel purpose, must assume responsibility for the stay and accommodation of the applicant in Angola and must include the following information regarding the applicant

• Full Name

• Nationality

• Date of Birth

• Place of Birth

• Passport Number

• Passport Expiry Date

• Occupation

• Name of Employer

Business  - E Visa 

Passport: A copy of the passport page which displays data and photo.

Photo: 2 x standard size.

​

Itinerary. Copy of round trip tickets or detailed itinerary for the duration of the trip (Applicant's name must be on itinerary). The itinerary must also include exact entry and exit dates and locations.

​

Yellow Fever Vaccination. A copy of the International Certificate of Vaccination (ICV) for yellow fever. To learn more about the yellow fever vaccination or to locate a vaccination clinic, please visit the CDC's yellow fever resource page.

​

Proof of Livelihoods. Proof of Livelihoods equivalent of 200 USD per each day of stay in Angola.

​

Proof of accommodation. Proof of accommodation (hotel reservation, proof of ownership or rent a house on behalf of applicant) or, if applicable, the commitment of maintenance and accommodation filled and signed by a person from Angola.

The E-visa will be sent by email after the request is approved. The visa fee ($120) should be paid at the airport on arrival. The visa is valid only after the payment.

Tourist - E visa

Original, signed United Kingdom passport. Passport must have at least 6 months remaining validity on the date of travel and have at least 1 visa page clear of any markings.

Letter from the applicant. Letter from the applicant requesting the visa, addressed to the Consulate General of the Republic of Angola in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and providing the reasons for the stay in national territory. This form can be found here.

Invitations from Angolan companies who are providing documents for the first time to the Angolan embassy in London must also include copies of the following: commercial license, tax receipt, company registration and publication of the registered company in the "Diário da República".
