Congo Brazzaville Requirements

Business
 

Congo Republic visa application form.

​

Original Passport. The passport must have at least 6 months validity at the time of travel and 2 adjacent blank pages.

​

Passport Photo. One recent passport photo.

​

Itinerary. Copy of round trip tickets or confirmed itinerary.

​

Yellow Fever Vaccination. Copy of International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever.

​

Employment Letter. An original letter from your employer/school (on business letterhead, with contact details), stating that

permission for you trip have been granted and that you will be returning to your current job. The Employment Letter must be addressed to Congo Republic High Commission ibn London.

Certificate of Accommodation) from Congo-Brazzaville stating details of inviting Company Name, Company Stamps, etc (must provide 2 copies, one will be certified and must be carried with you at all times whilst traveling).

Tourist 

Congo Republic visa application form. 

Original Passport. The passport must have at least 6 months validity at the time of travel and 2 adjacent blank pages.

Passport Photo. One recent passport photo.

Itinerary. Copy of round trip tickets or confirmed itinerary.

Yellow Fever Vaccination. Copy of International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever.

Approval. An Engagement De Prise En Charge issued by the Direction General De Migration in DR Congo approving the visit.

Lodging certificate. Certificate d'Herbergement ( accommodation certificate - provided by relatives or friends in Congo-Brazzaville. If born in DRC Kinshasa, a Certificat d'Herbergement is a main mandatory requirement. Please provide 2 copies Required

Hotel reservation. Copy of Hotel Reservation / Detailed Itinerary of trip (Including official confirmation from Rep of Congo-Brazzaville). this document requires two copies per application.

Offshore  

Congo Republic visa application form. For online orders, please download, print and sign Congo Republic visa application, prepared by our system under your account.

Business letter. An original signed letter from the UK company-

• Briefly introduce the applicant (please specify employment status/position held in the company by applicant).

• State the nature of the business to be conducted (ie. business meetings, contract negotiations, etc.) and the names and addresses of companies to be contacted in Congo Republic.

• Specify the Type and desired Validity of the visa 

• Guarantee of sufficient funds for travel.

 

A business invitation letter from the sponsoring company in Congo Republic. The letter should be printed on company letterhead stationery, addressed to "The Embassy of Congo Republic", and signed by a senior manager (an equivalent to Vice-President or above).

• State the nature of the business to be conducted ( business meetings, contract negotiations, etc.) and the names and addresses of companies to be contacted in Congo Republic.

• Specify the type and desired validity of the visa

Certificate of Accommodation. An official 'Certificat D'Hebergement'  from Congo-Brazzaville -please provide a copy of the certificate for our records, as the original/applicants copy will be certified and must be carried with the applicant's passport whilst traveling.

Passport Photo. One recent passport photo.

Itinerary. Copy of round trip tickets or confirmed itinerary.

Yellow Fever Vaccination. Copy of International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever.

Employment Letter. An original letter from your employer/school (on business letterhead, with contact details), stating that a leave of absence has been granted and that you will be returning to your current job. The Employment Letter must be addressed to Congo Republic High Commission If you are self-employed, include a copy of your business license and tax return. If you are retired please submit proof of your retirement fund.

Approval. An Engagement De Prise En Charge issued by the Direction Generale De Migration in DR Congo approving the visit.

Additional documents required:

​

• Please give a full inventory of all equipment, this will be certified by the Consulate, and must be carried at all times during stay in Congo.

• Driving over land, using your own vehicle will require a ATA Carnet  for declaration of equipment - de Passages en Douanes.

• All journalists, photo journalists, researchers, cameraman, producers must obtain a written permission to film or carry out their duties in the country provided by the relevant Ministry in Brazzaville, before entering the country.
