Business E Visa 
 

Scanned copy of UK passport. A clear scan of the information pages of your valid, signed passport.

The passport must have 2 blank pages ready for visa issue upon arrival in India.

E visa is only available to 16 entry Airports in India- please ask you consultant.

Passport-type photograph: must be uploaded to your applicant profile on the submission form below.

Business Card Copy or Invitation Letter is required. upload on the form below.   Please include Your name, company name, company or business affiliation and contact information

An invitation from the company in India whom you are visiting.

Business Normal 

India visa application form. 

Original, signed passport with at least 6 months of remaining validity.

Please note SIZING must be 50mmx50mm ('2x2')

UK Business Support letter. The business letter must include the following detail.

• introduce the applicant  please specify employment status/position held in the company.

• State the nature of the business to be conducted (ie. business meetings, contract negotiations, servicing and technical support  etc.) and the names and the names and addresses of companies to be contacted in India.

• Specify the Type and desired Validity of the visa 

• Guarantee of sufficient funds for travel.

Letter of invitation - Business invitation.

A business invitation letter from the sponsoring company in India. The letter should be printed on company letterhead stationery, addressed to "The Indian High Commission in London", and signed by a senior manager or director-  The business letter must include;

• introduction of the visiting person and the capacity they hold  - status/position held in the visiting company

• State the nature of the business to be conducted  and the names and addresses of companies - branches  to be contacted in India.

• Specify the type and desired validity of the visa applied for.

Declaration Form. An original signed copy of the India Declaration Form. 

​

Authorisation Letter. An Original signed copy of the India Authorisation Letter 

​

For a long-term business visa (up to 5 years). Visas of 5 years and over may require Biometric submission at the embassy -

 

One original signed letter from the company in UK & one Letter of invitation from an Indian Company. Both the letters need to contain the following information:

• Purpose of Visit

• Applicants Name

• Passport number

• Start & Expiry date of the passport

• Duration of stay in India (per trip -if applicable).

• Addressed to High Commission of India or Consulate General of India, Birmingham, or Consulate General of India, Edinburgh.

• Letters need to on the company’s headed paper.

• Letters need to be signed by authorised signatory of the company, proxy signatures are not acceptable.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: All letters should be addressed to Indian High Commission in London: India House, Aldwych, London WC2B 4NA

Biometric enrolment is mandatory for the issue of 5 years Business visa.

Tourist   E Visa 

​

Scanned copy of United Kingdom passport.

A clear scan of the information pages of your valid, signed passport.

The passport must also have 2 remaining blank pages upon arrival in India.

Passport-type photograph: must be uploaded to your applicant profile.

​

Photographs: 2. Photographs for an Indian Visa Application must be 50mmx50mm ('2x2') and taken by a professional photographer.

​

Multiple Entry Letter and Itinerary. If multiple entry visa valid more than 6 months is required, you must include a letter explaining precisely why a multiple entry visa for tourism is necessary. The decision to grant or deny the Multiple entry visa to India lays entirely with the Indian Embassy if refused there is no appeal process.
